This is a personal site about steakhouses. It collects almost nothing, and what it does collect is described here in full.
If you subscribe
The signup form stores one thing: the email address you type. It is kept in a Cloudflare KV store and used only to send you the reviews. It is not sold, rented, shared, or handed to an advertiser, and there is no second list you get added to.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click removes the address, immediately and permanently — nothing is retained afterwards. You can also write tohello@steakhouses.nyc and ask, and the same thing happens.
If you write in
The contact form passes your message and your email address to a form-handling service so it can reach an inbox. It is used to reply to you and nothing else.
What is not here
No analytics. No advertising. No tracking pixels, no cookies set by this site, and no third-party scripts watching what you read. Nobody is building a profile of you here, because nobody is measuring anything.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs — the sort every web host keeps. Map tiles on the atlas page are fetched from CARTO, which means your browser makes a request to them when you open that page. Neither is under this site's control.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If what the site collects ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Questions go to hello@steakhouses.nyc.
